Judging in Portugal

Last weekend was really intersting again. The Portugese Cavy Club (CAPI: http://capi-portugal.com/ ) invited me to judge on their show which was organized together with AVISAN, a big fair for the pet trade and breeders. The event took place in Santarém, a town north of Lisbon.
I was excited to judge in Portugal, as I had the idea that they are very strong in longhairs. Well, I did not have to be disappointed. There were some very strong classes, with several high quality animals. Grooming of the coat of the longhair breeds is also very professional here. I would like to thank all organizers of the show as well as all exhibitors who gave me the pleasure to judge their cavies.
