The H-Boys

We have not had too many litters lately, but these boys were worth waiting for. Their mother is Impala Fine Quality (from Cavatina's Stacy), their father is Emporio Armani at Brentwood Hotel.

Hugh at Brentwood Hotel. Named by his new owner Niki Benke, Hugh will move to his new home in a few days.

Hundertwasser Design at Brentwood Hotel. He probably will stay, but serious enquiries are welcome.

A Very Sad Day: Misty Dies...

January Mist at Brentwood Hotel "Misty"
17. 01. 2002. - 11. 03. 2009.

Yes, our good old Misty died today: I am afraid she was simply too old...
She will be remembered through her children who live in my caviary.

You can read more about her here:

YES, it's a Peruvian!!!

Yes, most of you were right to say that my new cavy is a: PERUVIAN!
I did not have any plans to start with a new breed, and I am afraid I will have no time to promote and breed Peruvians as much as "my breeds": Texels and Shelties. BUT I always have loved Peruvians, and Kiss is such a nice baby, that I could not say no to her... :o)

She is Impala Kiss for a Friend, a beautiful Peruvian sow in black-buff-white. Born from two Swedish parents, who represent the most prestigious Scandinavian lines

Many thanks for her to Ioana!
(also for the photos...)

And now, watch Kiss grow:

... and her other side:

Her father, Lejonhjarta's Danny (Malaxis Oki Doki - EM's Franci):

Her mother, Cavatinas Natasha (SCh. Cavatinas Venuti - Cavatinas Anna Mae):

Show Report: Rychnov (Cz)

I was invited to judge at the show in a beautiful little town called Rychnov nad Kneznou in the Czech Republic. It was a great weekend and an honour to judge such nice cavies at such a big show. I could meet some old friends and also new ones, which made a great time there.

I would like to congratulate and thank all people who took part in organizing the great event!

My report of the show in Rychnov is online now. With lots of photos of the winners! :o)
You can find it on my site: www.brentwoodhotel.hu
(Click on "Birálat/Judging" in the menu on the left, then choose Rychnov in the list of shows.)
